Polish Noodle Casserole (A recipe from Mom)
1 lb Hillshire Farm Keilbasa sliced into 1/4" medallions
1/2 t. salt 1/2 c. chicken broth 1/2 lb cooked- drained egg noodles 3 oz. grated parmesan cheese 1 can drained corn |
2 c. sour cream
2 T. minced onion (I substitute 1/2 packet onion soup mix instead) 1/4 t. pepper 1/2 t. dry mustard (or 1 T. spicy mustard) |
In a large bowl combine keilbasa, sour cream, minced onions, salt, pepper, chicken broth and mustard. Stir in corn. Gently fold in cooked noodles.
Place in buttered 9"x13" casserole dish
Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with parm. cheese.
Return to oven uncovered for 5-10 minutes
